Beloit youth learn Baha'i principles

6 Non-Baha'i youth in Beloit are gaining knowledge of the principles of the faith through the teaching efforts of Sue Alexander. The latest project for the class, which occurred September 7th, was aimed at connecting the youth with elderly residents at the Beloit Health and Rehabilitation Center near Beloit Hospital.  The youth spent time with a number of residents playing games, doing crafts, and painting finger nails.  The participating residents loved the visit and "lit up" according to Alexander.  She said the youth were very respectful of the residents and told her how good it felt to do something for someone else.  Alexander continues to meet with these neighborhood children on a regular basis.
